Adaptor Plug for Europe, Russia & South America
This two-pin plug is probably the single most widely used international plug.
The Europe (small 2-pin) PowerPlug is a round pin attachment plug that can be inserted into any socket that accepts 4-mm (or 4.8-mm) round contacts spaced 19 mm apart.
The Europlug is used throughout continental Europe as well as parts of the Middle East, and much of Africa, South America, Central Asia and the former Soviet republics.
Note: Some European-style plugs have larger 4.8 mm round pins and will not fit into sockets designed to accept only 4-mm pins, e.g., as found in Russia, countries of the former Soviet Union, and some Eastern European countries. The Europe (small 2-pin) PowerPlug, shown here, however, will fit into all 4.8 mm sockets.
